I was first contacted by Business Recovery Services in Sept of 2009. They contacted me to help me recover money that I had lost to a home-based business company that had made many empty promises. They told me that for $1,100 they would send me all the paperwork I would need to have to fill out to get my money recovered. They then told me that if I could not manage to recover my money on my own then I could turn it over to there "legal" division, or sister company Home-Based Business Consulting Services, for a 25% contingency fee. I decided "why not?" because I had lost over $17,000 and they had sent me a list of satisfied customers that I could contact to verify their credibility.  I then filled out all of the paperwork and sent it to the proper authorities.

After a few monthes, and no responses from the companies I was attempting to recover my money from, I decided to take it to their "legal dept". Since that time (roughly around Feb of 2010) I have had a nightmare of a time just getting someone on the phone to try to find out where my case stood. After blowing up all of the 6 phone numbers that I had collected during the process of trying to talk to someone, roughly 20 calls and 6 monthes later I finally got in touch with someone. I spoke to Chris(WHO APPARENTLY IS IN CHARGE LOL) who told me that the person that was working on my case was no longer with the company. Chris said he was sorry for the mix up and that he was going to peronally work on my case and call me back in a few days and let me know where we were.

After 9 monthes and easly 60 calls I finally was able to reach someone. They told me that no one was assigned to my case and they had no info on it and that I needed to call back and talk to Chris(WHO DOESN'T EVEN MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO CALL ME BACK EVEN THOUGH HIS VOICEMAIL STATES THAT HE WILL). I then received a voicemail today (the first call from them in almost 2 years. The voicemail message went like this "Hi I am calling from Business Recovery Services and I jst wanted to make sure that you have received a full refund from the companies that you are persuing. I thought, finally they got my money back for me......I WAS WAY OFF.

I called them back to speak to the person that left the message just to find out that they wanted see if I ws in need of their "legal" dept. I told the lady that I ha signed up with the "legal" dept over a year and a half ago. This seemed to confuse her because she said that no one was even assigned to my case...........Imagine my surprise lol. What ever you do dont work with this company, if you want to recover money you lost find a different avenue because these people are worse liars then the companies they are going after.

Mr. Terko is wrong

AUTHOR: Business recovery services - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2011

Business Recovery Services (BRS) has received this Ripoff Report filed by Ryan Terko of 2699 Radius Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20902.  Mr. Terkos telephone number is (301) 675-1915.

Mr. Terko alleges that the "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits he received are a scam. Of course, this is utter nonsense. Many business owners who have purchased the "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits from BRS in the past have realized full refunds just by sending in the kit's contents. Furthermore, even more business owners have realized full refunds by using the services of Home-Based Business Consulting Services (HBBCS). To date BRS and HBBCS have assisted its clients in recovering well over $2,300,000 from ill-fated business opportunities.

On October 26, 2009, Mr. Terko purchased three (3) "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits from BRS for a total of $900.00 for companies called Storesonline (SOL), Professional Marketing International (PMI), and The Tax Club.  BRS has assisted its clients in recovering over $550,000 from these three (3) companies to date.  Obviously, the name "Do-It-Yourself" clearly indicates that Mr. Terko needs to do the actual work himself.  In addition, Mr. Terko signed off that he realized that more effort could be required on his part. The "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits were sent to Mr. Terko as promised. Mr. Terko never called BRS for any follow-up assistance, which BRS provides free-of-charge.

Mr. Terko makes reference to BRS legal department.  Neither BRS nor Home-Based Business Consulting Services have a legal department.  Im not sure the source of Mr. Terkos information.  However, I can assure you that neither BRS nor HBBCS ever informed Mr. terko that either entity has a legal department.

In addition, Mr. Terko alleges that neither BRS nor HBBCS were responsive to his customer requests when he had contacted BRS or HBBCS.  This is complete and utter nonsense.  Both BRS and HBBCS are extremely responsive to any customer request, and I have no idea where Mr. terko came up with this allegation.  A review of all BRS and HBBCS E-mail accounts indicate that Mr. Terko made no such effort as he alleges.

If Mr. Terko wishes to quit before he gets started, then that's Mr. Terko's prerogative.  However, to blame BRS because he quit before he got started is fundamentally unjust, and Mr. Terko should be ashamed of himself.
