Home Comfort Furniture And Mattress Centtr Buyer beware of outrageous hidden return charges!!! Raleigh North Carolina

I bought $1720.00 worth of furniture from Home Comfort Furniture & Mattress ctr. After the furniture was delivered I found out it would not work. I called the company within hours of the delivery and I was told there would be a 10% restocking fee. It was picked-up and several days later I received a bill for $356.00.

I called the store to find out what this fee included. I was told there were two charges of $79.00 each for pick-up and delivery and a 10% restocking fee of 172.00 plus tax. This is outrageous, any furniture company will give you a chance to change your mind within a certain amount of hours without charge.

I could see them keeping the delivery fee, but these other charges are unfounded. I did not remove any tags from the furniture or sit on it while it was in my house. Buyer beware when dealing with Home Comfort Furnitue and Mattress Ctr.
