Shoddy workmanship, very difficult to deal with and won't honor warranty.  Owner is Larry Tyler and what they did is bad business if not illegal.  It was suppose to take 7 days it took 7 weeks to install equipment, and the shaft and electrical were already appropriated for in our new home.  The elevator has had 15 service calls in 5 months, including one where we had to be gotten out of it as we were trapped with our dog between floors. 

For this event the office manager has now tried to extort us for $150 dollars as she says it was our fault that the floor we installed (they wouldn't install a floor) is incorrectly done...strange thing is it is below their metal track and has no scratches, digs or other issues.  When the tech was here his report said it was due to the magnets being incorrectly installed (sounds like an installation issue to me) and that the screws they installed in the track were long enough and came loose creating issues with the door.  

Two ex-employees informed us they took a "prototype" out of the warehouse they were using to experiment with and tried to retrofit it into our home.  The represented this to be a Cambridge elevator (good name brand) but in reality it is a "home built" by them.  Now the elevator has again stopped between floors - first time since last visit in August and we see the mess with the duct tape and zip ties.  The elevator rattles, bangs and makes horrid noises as it moves...very shoddy work.

Regardless this is ANOTHER EXAMPLE of a South Carolina business that is a rip off company - avoid them pay a few extra dollars and go with a real elevator company.
