Jan 1st - Their web site is virtually impossible to navigate. I ordered from Home Price Club partly as they said there was no shipping charge and they had a good price on the LG Washer and Dryer I was purchasing. I completed my order through the www.HomepriceClub.com web site and was emailed the following day instructing me to call 888-447-0011 and ask for Jeffrey at extension 310.

Jan 2nd - I called and was told by Jeffrey that "insurance" of $152.88 was required in order to ship the LG Washer and Dryer? I was told this was not a shipping charge. Jeffrey told me that he would upgrade the shipping to white glove. He informed me that the expected delivery date would be 7 days so I should expect it on or around the 12th. I asked him to include an LG washer/dryer stacking kit in the order and he said he would arrange it.

Jeffrey told me to expect a fully itemized invoice and a tracking number. (This was not sent.)

Jan 2nd 2007 - I arranged to donate our current Washer and Dryer to the Salvation Army and since I was expecting our order no later than the 13th Jan I had the Salvos collect the washer and dryer on that date.

Jan 15th - It's very difficult to contact someone at Home Price Club regarding an existing order via the telephone this was my 3rd attempt and I was placed on hold cycles for over 30mins. Finally I just hung up and called again but this time I pressed the prompt for initiating a NEW order and was connected immediately.

I was told the washer/dryer should be arriving any day but that there was no stacking kit included. I requested a tracking order number and a fully detailed invoice...something I had never received. (This was not sent.)

Jan 17th - UPS Freight calls me to arrange a delivery time for Monday Jan 22nd. They tell me that the order for delivery of the Washer/dryer has only just been transmitted to them even though this is 15days from the date I ordered and paid for the washer/dryer. I asked about the white glove service and they said it is curbside delivery - she laughed at the concept of a white glove delivery.

Jan 17th - After many calls and some instance I managed to be connected to Jeffrey. I wanted to cancel my order and receive a refund but Jeffrey instructed me that he would take $50 off our order (this has not been refunded) and when I pressed him about the white glove delivery he said that white glove means they deliver to the front door!!! This is NOT what white glove means. White glove means they deliver, unpack and set up/assemble the goods. I also asked for an invoice to be emailed to me. So far I have not received a refund of $50 nor have we seen an invoice.

Jan 22nd - So it took 20 days, NOT 7, I'm disputing the foe "insurance" charge and I would warn anyone against dealing with this company. They lie simply to get you off the phone. I finally received an invoice after sending them a complaint letter and I was emailed a tracking number after the delivery was complete....a tracking number post delivery is NOT helpful.

The invoice on the delivered goods didn't even mention Home Price Club it mentioned A Heffco Technologies??

Today I had a customer service rep fro Home Price Club contact me and he was fantastic. He listened, was honest and frank about what went wrong and resolved the delivery insurance charge. He was concerned that I was happy...and by the end of our conversation I was completely satisfied. Because of him I would shop there again. I told him that due t his actions he had won me back as a customer.
