HOME OWNERS AND RENTERS

BEWARE

HOME RENTS INC. ( AKA Debbie and Brian J White)

These people have committed rental fraud and theft over $40,000 of money, jewelry and furniture. Please beware of the scams they are hauling. They seem very professional well groomed and drive a Gold/beige Volvo

They pose as rental/property managers of a company called Home Rents Inc. They say they will get tenants for your home. They are liars and will lie about anything to scam you. They have tried on numerous occasions to illegally evict people from their homes so they can have access to their personal belongings and money. They use the rules against people and have alot of people fooled, They ripped off a company called Cygnet Properties and were fired for theft of almost $50,000.  Who knows how much they actually got away with.

They collected rents from tenants and then took the money, and then once the rent became late they reported to their superiors to have the tenants removed. On other occasions they waited for tenants to go on vacation they then enter the tenant’s home and removed their furniture and belongings,

One victim  at another rental property owned by a different owner, was an elderly lady who had $10,000 stolen from her home and Debbie White the property manager was arrested for it in 2012 status of charge unknown

they say they are representatives for Irving Ship Building contract! They will most likely approach you if you have just built a home and it has been on the market for a year or more. They will offer their property management skills and make you believe they have renters who are executives from the Irving Ship Building contract in Halifax NS because they tell everyone they meet that they are the official rental agency for the Irving Ship Building contract, They are not! The head of Irving Corporate Security  was notified of their misrepresentation, and they were warned not to misrepresent Irving anymore!

If you are renting or selling your house beware of them and if you are currently involved with them be very careful about your approach they will lie to police. You will find nothing about their illegal activities online Brian White is computer expert and has hidden all bad press about them.

They use kijiji,

their own website http://homerents.ca/

and a site called http://uk2novascotia.com/rentaldetails.php?id=74

This is where they advertise their services.
