H.O.M.E, USIGHT out of business yet still collecting funds ripoff deceptive company Salt Lake City Utah

I tried to call H.O.M.E at 801-567-1700. The phone is answered "Corporate Office." I asked, corporate office for whom? The response was "for several companies".

When I told her I was calling H.O.M.E, I was told they went out of business in August and in October. In August they downsized by 50% and officially closed in October 2002.

I questioned who I was paying the $39.95 hosting fee to each month and was told that HOME/MOTO bought that part of the business. Also told I did not need to be advised because it was on my credit card bill. Indeed it is but I had not noticed this subtle change in the company name.

I requested cancellation of the hosting service for which I have paid a minimum of $399 over the past year. In order to cancel I must send a written request and the cancellation will cause the 50+ websites purchased for $2995 from Usight/H.O.M.E to be lost to me forever.

In other words these companies have us coming and going. It is impossible to either run a business or get out of the business.

Will keep all posted as I find out more. HELP!!!
