Dennis Killebrew has completed many projects at my house over the past 5 years.  His work has been of excellent quality and his prices are reasonable.  As he wrote in his rebuttal, he offers to go above and beyond the job he has been hired to do.  I have recommended him to many friends and family and all who have used him have praised his work.  I think it is very unfortunate that someone can defame someone in this way with no proof.

I first met Ms. Palmer several years ago as she worked at the home depot i frequented. I would chat with her on what I did, and show her pictures. In time she asked if I would do some remodeling for her. I told her I was currently very busy but I would stop by, and give her a rough estimate. I did, and she was going to look for tile, which she found, though I told her I was in the middle of a project. She asked if I could pick it up for her, as they wanted to charge her for delivery, so I did. Then she kept on asking if i could start, so I stopped work on the project I was working on and started on hers. Since she was a friend, I told her I would do the tear-up for no charge. A normal $1,500.00 discount, and gave her a friends and family discount on the rest of the work.

Each day she would say how happy she was with the progress, and come up with a few other chores for my list,. holes in the drywall, broken closet door, remove old vanity top. and plumbing, and reattach after the new vanity was installed,.. Which I did at no charge, only asked she pay for the materials. She had a few repairman come by, and could I take care of it for her, as she didn't want to miss work,.. Her car was not working, could I give her a ride to work, and see that the car was delivered to the repair shop,.. All during the remodel Ms. Palmer would compain about money issues,.. As I completed the remodel, tile flooring, master bath remodel, tiled bathtub surround, floor, and custom shower,. I was only waiting for the shower glass panel, and make a few touch ups, and put the sealer on the shower. We had ordered the glass panel fro the Home Depot she works at, she would call me when it comes in, and I would finish. Ms. Palmer witheld $500.00 from the final bill, until I finished.

As I was doing the final clean-up of the remodel, I asked her if since I was going to the landfil, did she want me to take down the dead Pine Tree in the front yard, she had complained about that too, She initially said yes please, then asked if I was going to charge her,. I said $200.00 as it was a 30 foot Pine, and would cost around 100.00 in landfill fees, She said I owed her, and 100.00 would be fine, then said forget it, and leave my d**n key under the front door mat,so I did. I never heard from her, and figured she had someone else put the glass in.. As I would go into my home depot, I couldn't get service, and none of those employees I have known for years would talk with me. Then there was a knock on the door, and I had been served with papers by Ms. Palmer, and a customer of mine told me what Ms. Palmer had written about me on this web site. Very sad she couldn't have been an adult about it. As I been in the trade foor more than 30 years, and Ms. Palmer knew I wasn't a contractor, I am a handyman,.. As she had asked me on several occasions.

This is the first time in over 30 years that I have ever had an issue, Not only has she slandered my name, business, ethics, morals, and skills, through the internet, the court system. My only advice to those who would have any business dealings with Ms. Palmer is dont. But if you do, at all times make sure you have a witness to cooberate any time she is present.
