HomeEq Servicing Corporation ripoff Hounds You Won't Work with you payoff same as borrowed or more Sacramento California

When medical bills made it necessary to take out a second mortgage, which we had with First Union, soon after we got the second mortgage we were informed our mortgages had been sold to HomeEq (actually the same people)our problems began. We have NEVER been 30 days late, but 1 day after the due date the phone calls begin.

In the beginning we tried talking to them to set up a payment date we could work with and they never would agree to it. They insisted payment had to be made then & there. I was chastised by 1 employee because I paid my car insurance 1st. Mind you it was only 1 day after the due date (no late fees involved), everything I tried was unacceptable to them. After asking to speak with her manager, I as so upset, my husband took the phone very calmly told the manager before he tried to get the matter resolved, there was no reason for his employee to speak to me the way she did, He Hung Up!!

We began making payments on line, they got to where they wouldn't let you enter the date you wanted to pay, if it was 2 or 3 days before your next payment was due you couldn't pay on line. The phone calls would start at 8 am even on Sunday and call nearly every hour until 9 PM at night. They would hardly Ever leave a message on the answering machine, just call & hang up, caller ID shows the number. There should be a law against people like this. I admit due to the health problems my husband & I have developed our payments were slow.. But Never 30 days late.

If you could talk to them and they would work with you just a little, we would have Called Them. I thought there was a law against Sunday calls trying to collect debts, didn't God set that day for a day of rest (from people like this??).
