 I am submitting a report as an unhappy customer with HomeFix due to several ignored calls to fix a rear storm door which became difficult to open after being installed within in a year. I purchased two storm doors on 3/22/06 from HomeFix. The rear storm started to hit the ground when opened during the Fall/Winter season in 2006-07. I made a service call to HomeFix to report the door issue and was told someone will contact me to follow me. I was never contacted concerning this repair. My last call concerning this issue in 2007 was never resolved. The last response I received was someone came by my house and did not see any issue with door. I was asked did I had cement work done on my porch to cause the door issue. Terrible customer service!! I never met a service person from HomeFix to examine the door. I will never use HomeFix for home remodeling again! This how they treat customers who spent over $10,000 in doors and windows!

Agreed to resolution of door repair

 I spoke to John Morse, SVP of HomeFix today. He apologized for the customer experience from 6-7 years ago concerning the storm door repair. Mr. Morse has agreed to replace the storm door to reflect the company's commitment to good customer service. Mr Morse stated that HomeFix does stand by its quality work in home remodeling.
