Homeside Lending has repeatedly refused loan payments, and "sent" the payments back (which have apparently been lost in the mail on several occasions). They have then sent notices of "failure to pay" and threatened foreclosure after refusing the payments and stating that the returned payments are not their resposibility, since they cannot control the Post Office.

I had the same situation. I was paying some back-payments owed as a result of a bankruptcy. I followed the payment schedule we agreed to. Homeside returned the payments, said I was in default, demanded over $2000 in attorney's fees and foreclosed on my property. I lost over $25,000 in equity and have yet to find an attorney willing to touch them. I have all the documentation to prove they were in error and nobody seems to care! I'm frustrated!
