HomeTenders of America, Scottsdale Arizona is quickly obtaining a word-of-mouth reputation of not only harming the community homeowners and caretakers, but destroying the reputations of very well-known and hard working realtors.  Today we held a "tour of homes".  This particular tour of homes were amongst very well distinguished realtors here in the valley of Arizona.  In a large meeting, HomeTenders of America were discussed.  A realtor noted and read HomeTenders response to their reviews.  As WE ALL AGREED, their response is simply put "a desperate attempt to save what is left of their reputation".  Let it be known that this company has gone on and continues to harm "HOMEOWNERS", "CARETAKERS" & "REALTORS"....we as realtors are here to protect homeowners we sign contracts with.  Every realtor has had the same approach and the same outcome with HomeTenders of America!

One particular realtor, spoke for roughly 20 minutes starting from HomeTenders 1st phone contact with the realtor.  Their strategy to the moment they place their cartaker into your home you've contracted with the homeowner.  Unfortunately, his client was his former neighbor is a very exclusive neightborhood.  Within 2 weeks of HomeTenders placing a caretaker into the home, the caretakers jewelry went missing.  Ironically, on a day that HomeTenders used a key while the cartakers were out-of-town to do what HomeTenders called an "inspection". HomeTenders denied any involvement.  The realtors and homeowners together with the caretaker are trying desperately to pull out of the contracts.  If HomeTenders were a professional company, they'd let these people out of their contracts.  But, this only paints exactly how this company operates and what they are about!

HomeTenders rebuttles any criminal filings against them.  Funny, when you go to the Superior Courts of Arizona website, there are ALL KINDS OF filings that are "against" HomeTenders of America.

Companies that are in "good standing" in the community never receive as many bad reviews as this company has posted against them.

No matter what company realtors hang their licenses with, talk and share information.  We network daily and talk and share information daily.  This isn't the first time, I've personally heard of this company.  Not only are they harming the homeowners and caretakers, but ruining realtors reputations as well.

I'm sure after you've read this review, you'll make the right decision.  There are plenty of rental homes both in Phoenix & Scottsdale. If you have a realtor, ask them about this company.  Their reputation preceeds them.

NO SUCH REALTOR/ANOTHER FALSE STORY BY SAME PERSON!

AUTHOR: Owners,Hometenders of America - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 30, 2010

Per The Dept. of Real Estate, there is no such person as a Kathy Dodds as a licensed Realtor in the State of AZ. This again a fictitious and malicious attempt to besmerch the good name of a legitimate company doing business in AZ by the same family. They are also reaching out to other companies whom they have had dealings with and doing the same thing. We have proof who they are by the IP address. Legal and Criminal charges are being pursued. It is so obvious that these are the same people as why all of a sudden are these charges coming forth all at one time during the same time frame these people lost in court.

Again, we have NEVER been sued, ever. Why not take a legitimate claim to the BBB? Because this is all lies and there is no claim.

Our response remains the same.

To any Realtor, Homeowner or
Potential Hometender reading this posting,

First let us say we are sorry

We are sorry that despite
your interest in our Company (you wouldnt be reading this if you
werent involved or planning to work with us in the future) you
have found yourself caught up in a smear campaign waged against our
Company by one disgruntled person.

We are also sorry, that
despite the logic and evidence that we are about to present, that
you may still have doubts about our credibility. It is sad how one
bad seed can potentially ruin an opportunity that could benefit so
many people.

Our hope, even prayer, is that you are able to see past, this malicious attempt to discredit our reputation and pursue your interests in our company; whatever level that might be.

The glitch is that libelers online (most of which are sociopath) cant be dealt with judiciously. A few of these individuals arent just carrying a grievance, a selection of them are truly psychopathic.

Thus theyll incessantly try to make your life intolerable, for no
logical cause at all. Perchance these are individuals you acknowledge
in the real world, perhaps a former employee or a business
acquaintance as in this case.

Our expectancy is that if you
have any interest in working with us, that you would call and speak
to us directly. We would be happy to share with you all the facts of
this situation but, most importantly, give you a chance to see the
type of people we really are. We are people who are committed to
helping realtors market and sell homes more quickly and for more
money, help homeowners reduce the burden of maintaining an unoccupied
property and provide an opportunity for good people to live in a nice
home and reduce their living expenses at the same time.

Despite our rather robust systems and processes for screening Hometenders for the properties we represent, we ran into a bad seed. This person didnt live up tothe strict requirements and standards set forth by our company.

We discovered this truth rather early on in our working with these
people and followed our procedures for terminating our working
relationship. Sadly, we had to take this situation through the court
system where we received a favorable judgment and outcome.

Case closed. So we thought

As you can see, this
individual who clearly doesnt want to accept responsibility for
their own actions, behaviors and agreements, has made it their life
mission to get back at us. Oh how much simpler life would be if
people would simply admitted their mistakes, took responsibility for
their actions and moved on. But such is not the case here.

The bottom line is these
people didnt not live up to their contractual obligation with our
company and they want to make us responsible.

The irony, and hopefully this
will become obvious to you, is that all of these slanderous reports
began right around the time we were battling to have these people
removed from the property. Every report has happened within 60 days.
Surely if our company was as disreputable as they suggest there would
be other evidence of problems going back over our 4 year history in
business. There has not been one!

We admit we are not perfect.
We take responsibility for our mistakes and we work very hard to
correct them as they occur. Our commitment has, and will always be,
to our clients and the people who put their trust in our services.
Our goal is to never let them down and continue to provide a service
that is mutually beneficial to all.

I sincerely hope that this
explanation with be enough to assure you that we are a good company
worthy of doing business with should you be considering our services.

The governing agencies of the internet are already involved in this slander campaign against an honest reputable company. Read the reviews from Homeowners, Hometenders and Realtors. This is not joke. Anyone can see this is all from one person. Who would take the time to write all this garbage. These people are in for a rude awaking as you cannot get away with this malicious behavior. It is pretty sad situation to have to live this way, having no other life than to spend it attempting to discredit a reputable company. Who knows how many other lives they have impacted negatively in the past. If the general public were to know what these people have done and are capable of, it would turn your stomach.

HORRIBLE WORLD WE LIVE IN!

We have been reading these horrible postings that have been on the Internet. We personally know the story of these vindictive, sinister people who have been posting these lies. We have known the Beziks for many years and find these accusations abominable! What a shame that the Internet gives these people an outlet to spew such lies with no proof or validation or repercussions. We know of Hometenders of America from it's inception and it is a GREAT program. They go over and above to do whatever it takes to get the job done. They have even taken money out of their own pocket to fix items to make the home habitable when the owners would not do so. They lend furniture to hometenders who have not enough. They bend over backwards to help. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT IS WRITTEN ON THE INTERNET BY THESE PEOPLE....IT IS ALL LIES! Please do your own due diligence and you will be pleasantly surprised. They would not have been in business this long if any of this were true. C. Cook, Business Associate

We AGAIN are fully aware of who wrote this annonymous posting as our police investigations have proven correct. These postings will be stopping shortly as we are now in the legal process and the ramifications for these impersonations are severe as these folks will soon find out.

We really don't want to comment on these postings any more however, on a side note: We should be so lucky as to be discussed on a "tour of homes: for 20 minutes! How perposterous. If a Realtor would like to know about our Company they ask for a referral. Why is it that all of a sudden Hometenders of America is the topic of such discussions when we have been around for four years and our parent company since 1984! This is all part of the witch hunt from disgruntaled, low class, and most unfortunate for us ex-hometenders who slipped through the cracks. We have never been found to steel anything from a home. Again where is the proof of any of these ramblings. There is not one shread of documentation on anything said here. This story is a complete fabrication, it never happened and any Realtor knows better. Realtors reading this are very savvy and know this scenario is rediculous. Most are posted annonymously and others have ficticious names.

What the community is most in danger of is having folks like these be able to spew this garbage on sites like these. These people are dangerous to both your physical being as well as your well-being as we have found out first hand. However no deed goes un-punished. Karma is very bad. If you want to know about Hometenders of America, please contact any of the following: We have many more tesimonials, however they all won't fit on this posting.

HOMETENDERS OF AMERICA MET AND EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS: They provided piece of mind. Knowing that our property was occupied, we did not have to worry about crime or unnoticed maintenance issues. It helped assure our neighbors that we still cared about the greater good by not leaving the property unoccupied. It saved us between $100-200 per month in utilities and helped us maintain a reasonable insurance rate. The professional staging and virtual tour would've been an asset if we had needed to attract a buyer. Overall, our dealings with the Hometender's staff was courteous, efficient and effective. Thank you Hometenders.

Doug and Jen Dziedic, Homeowers

First of all, let me tell you how impressed we are with the decorating and staging of our house. It looks beautiful - VERY IMPRESSIVE!! We appreciate your help with our problem and trust that our home will make someone happy and eventually will sell!

Hometenders of America located in Scottsdale, AZ, has made my sad empty house a very happy and beautiful occupied house! They decorated and staged our location and moved a renter in to keep it warm and cozy. And they did a fabulous job! We can't believe how gorgeous it looks and how elegant the decorating appears. It is over the top in our minds. Not only is our house happy but this move has saved us about $500.00 a month in utilities and $300.00 a month for landscape and pool care. In addition, our home insurance went down as well with someone living there by about $200.00 a month. And we were able to discontinue our home warranty at the cost of $55.00 per month because that is now provided by Hometenders. What a great feeling we have saving well over a thousand dollars a month and knowing we have a happy house that was once sad and forlorn. Hometenders saved the day for us - they are without a doubt a classact! Steve & Jan Hildebrand-Homeowners

GREAT PROGRAM, WONDERFUL BUSINESS MODEL, INTEGRITY PLUS! I have known the Beziks for many years, starting out being the Realtor on a home they were selling and then helping purchase investment properties and person homes. When they told me about this program, I was thrilled as we needed something like this in this market. This was in 2007. I use this program on all my listings. Why wouldn't you? They maintain the property, stage it, and sell it for more than if it were vacant. I love telling my homeowners about this program. Saves them a lot of money. John and Cyndee and Barbara and wonderful people. Cannot say enough good things about them. Their heart is in the right place and they are great business people as well. Ask anyone that knows them or their business. Norma Nelson, Realtor Homesmart

BEST PROGRAM EVER! We have been in the Hometender program for over 3 years. We move from house to house as they sell. This is a great program for us as we had some financial challenges and found this a much better solution then conventional renting. We know the drill! I recently had to file for divorce and was not able to afford the home we were living in. Instead of having to move, the Bezik's lowered my fee to a price a could afford!! This was money out of their pocket! Great people that have your best interest at heart! Cannot say enough good things! Lisa Bowerman, Hometender

I want to thank you for the great service I received from Hometenders. I am very pleased with the program and hope to use Hometenders again when the housing market improves (whenever that might be). I also appreciate the advice you have given me and the knowledge you have shared on the housing market both in our conversation this morning and throughout the program. We will be in touch throughout the transition period. Thanks, Diane Thompson, Homeowner

Barbara,

I looked at the home this weekend. What a great jobI am a fan!!!! Sincerely, Charles (Chuck) Varga- Realty One Group REALTOR

Just a short note to say that Hometenders of America did a great job for us in Scottsdale. You were able to find people who fit within the parameters we asked. In the future, should we need the same service; Hometenders of America will be the company we choose. Thanks again for a job well done. Paul Gruskha Homeowner of Softwind

WANT TO STAY IN THE PROGRAM FOREVER! This is our third house with Hometenders. Love it! Started out in a smaller home that accommodated our furniture. As we accumulated more, they moved us up the ladder accordingly. Now we are in a fabulous house. Love this program. They do whatever they can to help. We surely don't want to rent as we could never afford this lifestyle. Wonderful program/owners. They also throw the best Christmas parties The Winklers, Hometenders

HomeTenders of America really went above and beyond with my property.there were only three days in which the home was vacant! The home was quickly occupied and shortly after that it was professionally decorated and staged ! I could not have possibly have had this home in shape like HomeTenders did after moving out this is their business, they are so quick and efficient even the neighbors were shocked at how quickly everything came together. The HomeTender is extremely easy to work with and I truly see the benefit of having someone in the home no worries of any problems associated with an empty home. Saved me over $600 a month at least! I strongly recommend HomeTenders of America! Curt J. Phoenix, AZ Realtor

HomeTenders of America provided an excellent service as I was in the process of trying to sell my Paradise Valley home while located in Southern California. They saved me several hundred dollars per month in maintenance and utilities as well as giving me the peace of mind that my home was in good hands while I was not in Arizona. The substantial and high quality staging was a large factor in attracting potential buyers, and ultimately lead to the sale of the property in a down market where the competition was tremendous. HomeTenders provided and excellent service while actually saving me money!" Jesse B., Irvine, CA

Barbara, Home Tenders is a great service for those who have had to move before a sale of their home hasoccurred. Some benefits are:

1-Someone is in the home therefore a security presence.

2-The rooms have furniture which allows a prospective buyer to view the rooms with furniture rather trying to picture their furniturein the emptyhome which is not always easy.

3-The home is professionally staged and the virtual tour is great!

4-Some expenses the homeowner had are now borne by the Home Tender interim occupant such as utilities, landscaping and pool maintenance. This will save us over 600.00 per month! Thanks for the service you provide. Tom Larkin, Homeowner, PV, AZ

THEY CAME TO ME! We are investors and have a house in North Scottsdale. Hometenders of America saw that it was vacant and came to me with a solution. Learned about their program. We worked with Barbara to get the home up to par. She brought in her trades and we worked together to get this home in tip top shape in a matter of days. She pointed out the deficiencies that we overlooked to help get this home sold. They installed a fabulous hometender with beautiful furniture. The home shows like a model. The furnishings and dcor items add to the beauty of the home and hides some of the flaws. Saving us hundreds of dollars a month. What a great company. Wish we would have known about this a year ago. Mike Gould, Realtor, Investor Homeowner.

SAVED MY HOME FROM FORECLOSURE! We were upside down in our home. We paid $1.2 million dollars for it with a mortgage of over a million dollars. We were struggling to make the mortgage payments until we were out of money. Our Realtor told us that the home was worth somewhere between $500-600K. We moved out into an apartment, sold our furniture and was going to let the home go. Heard about Hometenders. They put some great folks in the property. The home sold within 2 months for over $600K! Even the Realtor was shocked. Having the home staged with beautiful furniture definitely made a difference. Saved us from having a Foreclosure on our record. Thanks Hometenders! Cadillac Family, Homeowners

WILL USE HOMETENDERS ON EVERY VACANT LISTING: Great program, Great people. Why sit with a vacant property when you can have it taken care of, staged and all the utilities, pool and landscaping paid for, plus free virtual tour, home warranty and they pay for the deductible! Used them twice before with much success. Will use them again on all my vacant properties. Alexander J Mariconda RE/MAX Achievers

HOMETENDERS MAKES A DIFFERENCE! We have a 3 Million Dollar home we custom built for ourselves. Do to extenuating circumstances we were not able to move in. Home was on the market for over 200 days. The carrying costs were overwhelming. We enlisted the services of Hometenders of America. They installed a fabulous couple in the property with dynamite furniture. They staged the home to look like a model home. They are paying for pool, landscaping, all utilities and have eased the burden for us. This house looks great! Furnishing it makes all the difference. People can visualize how the home should be especially in a high end property. No need to pay for staging, that is just another expense. Recommend them highly! The Tuckers, Homeowners.

SAVED HOME FROM POTENTIAL DISASTER! Please read this story, it will send chills up your spine!! We have a brand new $6 Million Dollar 11,000 sq. ft. new build home in Silverleaf. We just had a fantastic caretaker/hometender from Hometenders of America put the home. The builder sent over a fireplace crew to test and light all the fireplaces in the home (there are seven). All of them are gas and have remote starts. The crew finished testing and left. The next day, about 15 hours later, our Home Tender was out in the backyard checking on the pool with the pool man. He immediately said that he smelled a strong gas smell. They checked the outdoor fireplaces and smelled nothing. They thought it might be a main gas leak coming from the desert as the smell was so strong. After further investigation they went to the guest house and opened the doors and almost passed out. The gas had been left on emitting from that fireplace for over 14 hours! If the house had been vacant, not only would it have blown up, but likely taken out several other homes in the neighborhood (and maybe even lives). Celebrity Homeowner

LOVE THIS PROGRAM: This is my second home in the program. Really a great alternative. Cyndee and Barb are great. Staged my home to look like a model home. Didn't even charge me the second time. Who would want to rent if you can live like this for a fraction of the cost. Use them!Jeff Adkins, Hometender

THOUGHT:What's the Catch! When I first learned about this program thought it was a typo. Price was too good to be true. After meeting the staff at Hometenders, I was grateful for this program. Just moved here to take a job and knew no one. Thought apartment living would be my destiny. Barbara and Cyndee did go shopping for me and got such gorgeous things, I have never lived like this! Even lent me items I couldn't afford to buy free of charge. They go the extra mile. So impressed I am working with them on a part time basis to help with marketing! Great Company!Jeff Fossaa, Hometender

Hands down, the most professionally run program of its type in AZ... Leslie McCarver, JD The Walt Danley Group, Coldwell Banker

Any Realtor that has a vacant home and doesn't use this program is doing their seller a dis-service. This is a win-win program. You cannot compare the value of a home that is vacant and one that is beautifully staged not to mention the financial pressure it takes off the clients for carrying the property. Use the program...it works Carolyn Lane, HomeSmart, Real Estate Broker, Constable-Arcadia Biltmore District

Who wouldn't want to use this company? HOA provides a great service for sellers and their Realtors, in that they stage the property and keep it secure. New Home Builders spend a fortune dressing up their models, with Hometenders of America the seller gets this for FREE and even has their utilities and landscape and pool service paid for. It is a win-win proposition, and I encourage all of my vacant property sellers to use them! Karen Picarello CRS,RECS, e-Pro-Certified Internet Professional, CLHMS, REMAX Fine Properties

ONE DAY AND THREE SHOWINGS LATER!!!!

As a Top Producer with Re/Max Achievers, anyone not using Hometenders of America need to rethink their strategy! Their program is very upscale in professionalism, and these ladies know what it takes to help SELL our listings. I personally can tell you that after picking up a listing from an Agent who had it on the market for over a year with NO CONTRACTS, that within ONE DAY of staging and 3 showings later I had an Offer in hand. This is a NO BRAINER....the Seller signs a contract and Hometenders will find a great Tender to live in their home and take excellent care of it. Agents only need to give a 15 minute notice to show the home and it will show model perfect. The home is well maintained, yards and pool are taken care of regularly with no cost to the seller. I've not met any two women more dedicated to making this a win-win for everyone. Tell all your Agent friends to jump on this win-win and let's sell more homes. ..we can't loose with their help!! Lori Wegner CNE, REMAX Achievers

Fantastic idea, fantastic results, very professionally run company. Finally something good to hear about in this depressing market. My clients love the program and I would recommend it to all Realtors. Larry Siferd, Sonoran Properties GMAC

Great program, professionally run. It eases the holding costs of a vacant home and also gives you peace of mind to know that your home is being monitored and taken care of. Great idea. I don't understand why you don't have a thousand homes in your program. What's the downside? I don't see it. Bo Lane, Owner, EB Lane Advertising and PR-Phoenix Country Club Homeowner

VACANT HOME FOR OVER A YEAR! My house sat vacant for over a year. We were drowning with the carrying costs. We had little to no interest in the property. It had a few layout flaws which were evident. Lowering the price was not the answer. We heard about Hometenders of America on the news. We had our Realtor call and put our home in the program. Hometenders of America found a great couple to move in and with the help of their professional stagers made the home look beautiful and the flaws less obvious. Within 2 months we had the home sold. This program is a win win and don't know why there are any vacant homes around. Who wouldn't use this program.Don Pebbles, Homeowner

Great program...love it. My wife and I lost a million dollar home to a short sale. Our choices were living in a two bedroom apartment with half our furniture in storage or becoming a Hometender. We chose hometending and now we're living in a gorgeous home at the Biltmore for the same price as an apartment with all our furniture. This is our third home in the program. The designers staged the home to be show ready and we know the drill to keep it that way. We will stay in the program until we're ready to buy again. Ken Fearer, Hometender
