Bottom Line Up Front: I contracted Mark Shields owner of Homework to do a custom installation of a barn door in my theatre room. First red flag, played off his own day to do the qoute.
Then upon installation, he collected his check, and did not leave an invoice.
Then about 1 week after installation, his barn door installation fell apart due to poor qaulity installation. And after 3 straight weeks of scheduling appointments with Mark to come fix the problem, he kept coming up with execuses.
So I have to hire another company to fix the substandard installation by Homework Inc. Next step is to file against the DBPR in Florida

The issue with the BARN DOOR is you DIDNT use TOGGLE BOLTS, you just used drywall anchors.
This is a simple fix, but I aspect you to FIX it.
Also, it will required you to bring 4 - 5 pieces of 2 X 2 squares of plywood, to put up in the sofit itself. I will have someone here when you do that to assist.

I am Mark Shields , been in business my whole life and I do my best to resolve any issue that might come up , but I chose not to return to Kelly's house and I'm comfortable with that decesion. It wasen't til after the door was built and hung that he selected a giant movie theater picture that weighed more than the anchors could support.
