i hired Horizon to clean 3 rooms (traffic area only) from flyer I received in the mail for $6.95 a room. The tech accessed the rooms & said there was no way they could get the rooms cleaned for that price. The rooms needed a deep cleaning and it would cost $175. I had a recent coffee stain on one of the carpets. The tech said he could clean the carpets and get the stain out for that price. I agreed to the cleaning. While the carpets were wet it looked like the stain was out. After the carpet had dried the stain was still there. This was done on 2/22/10. I called the company on 2/23 to complain the stain was still there. They said I needed to talk to the tech. The check was cashed on 2/23. No return call from tech. Called again on 2/24 & spoke to manager about this. She said I needed to speak to the tech & she would have him call me. No call from tech. Called the company again on 2/25 very angry about the run around and finally got to speak to the tech. He then told me that sometimes the stain will come back. I am upset because he did not tell this at the time of cleaning. He just said yes he could get the carpet clean and stain out for $175. I asked him to come back & reclean the stain. He said he could not do that but that I could pay again and have the carpet recleaned. Other than that there was nothing he could do. I called the manager back to speak to her about this and she did not return my call. I reported them to the BBB and as of 3/22 they had not responsed to the BBB. My husband took our Bissell carpet cleaner and recleaned the stain and it came up. What does this say about this company. They are a rip off!
