Horizon Foods Scams Employees Lake Mary Florida

All I can say about this company is beware! This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. It is a scam. They have no vested interest in there employees and share no responsibility in backing up there product. Any company that has to recruit constantly should tell you that there is something wrong. I am a sales rep with 20 years of experience. I was a regional sales manager with a salesforce of 15 under me in the southeast united states for my previous company, and have been in the top 20% of every company I have ever worked for. These guys make you give them a deposit that they tell you is for truck insurance premium coverage,(a total lie), then they scam you out of it if you chose to leave the company. They tell customers that they guarantee the food for a year, yet take no responsibility if the food is returned. It all falls on the sales rep. If he cant resell it, he must pay for it. They dont invest any money in reps( no gas or expenses) everything comes out of your portion as a rep. They churn people and whatever customers reps do sign up end up going to the management(who by the way is also selling in compitition with you as a rep)when you leave. They end up being the only ones with established routes making any money. So if you can afford to live off peanuts for a year or two, you may eventually make money with this job. When I left they pulled whatever they felt they could off my truck and charged me for it against my deposit. They have you work for free for your first week(there so called training). I saw at least 2-3 reps turnover every week that I was there. You do the math at 500.00 per rep deposit? I am not saying they dont have good product. They do! Its just extremely overpriced and you have to really hustle and con people to get them to buy. If you are looking at this company, make sure you read the fine print in there contract. They are unscrupulous! Beware!
