I got home today and read the little brochure that Horizon Gold mailed me. It stated, "Congratulations, Laurie! You are approved to receive your $500 unsecured Horizon Gold Credit Line!" It also stated that it helps to establish new credit, guaranteed approval, no credit checks, bad credit or no credit accepted, and reports to major credit bureau. Well, I knew this must be too good to be true.

Then when I went to the website, which rushes you to enter your personal and payment information, I came across the Terms and Conditions. People, you have to read the Terms and Conditions! The truth is revealed there! It stated that this was not a credit card. It stated that it was one of those online shopping credit cards.

The various annual fees, monthly fees, one-time fees, late fees, etc. just to be "priviledged" to shop on a website that charges shipping and handling and not know what the website offers...I DON'T THINK SO!
