Horizon Services HVAC Total SCAM!!! New Jersey

Had Horizon Services last year for a heater/furnace cleaning.  The cleaning came with a fee and a free follow up cleaning the following year (this year).  Scheduled my free cleaining and company tech arrived on time.  Turned on my thermostadt to get the heater running (this is in summer) and he had a look.  Tech came up less than 5 min later saying the flame sensor was not reading the pilot light and thus not lighting the burners.  He went to his truck to look for a part and price to fix.  Part would be $850 but he didn't have one and would have to order it.  I told him to write up what was wrong and I'd think about it.  

As tech was writing up the specifics in the truck, I googled the price of the part online ($21.49) and he came in to try and talk me into scheduling either the repair or the installation of a completely new system for between $7500 - $9000!  Again, told him I'd think about it.

As he was talking to me, I notice the house getting warmer and warmer.  Here, the heat was pouring out of all the vents.........clearly the heater worked.  Either tech is unqualified to work on HVAC or the gimmick of free cleanings is just to "find something wrong" and try and talk people into getting work done or into getting new units.  AVOID AT ALL COSTS
