Horizon Society Inc Society Horizon Inc Contract fraud, did not pay, possible mail fraud, deceitful, Helsinki

Horizon Society Inc aka Society Horizon Inc contacted me via email with a job offer for a Prodcut Forwarding Contractor.  Job was simple enough.  They send packages to you to turn around and mail to a person and/or business.  They send you the prepaid postage label and you take it to either UPS, FedEx or USPS.

Product would range from computers, computer parts, vitamins, letters.  I was to recieve $2500/month plus $25 per package and $10 per envelope I mailed plus any out of pocket expenses ie. gas, labels, ink cartridges.  According to the contract I signed I was to receive this money after the first 28 days.  Then I would be paid every two weeks after that.  Well once my 28 days were up they quit sending packages, letters, etc. 

I contacted my "Manager" and she said "the check comes from our New York office and it will take 3 to 5 business days to get here".  So the 8th day came and went and I contacted her again and she said she never told me that, "that my check was being sent from the main headquasrters in Helsinki, Finland and it takes 10 to 13 days".  All communicaitons are through email only.  No phone numbers at all were given.

Now before I signed I looked them up on Rip Off and some other sites, they were not listed and so I through well okay, I won't be out any money other than my time, so give it a try.  I knew I should have followed my first instincts about the company, but oh well.  I am out the $2944 that I should have been paid.  I did get a invoice for $69.77 from FedEx and I explained the situration to them and they were very kind and said I didn't have to pay, but to be cautious when dealing with companies like that on the internet.

I am reporting them so no one else will get scammed by this company.
