Jeff hoskings, owner of hosking flooring, continues to piss off customers. Jeff hosking does not support the warrenties he sells to customers.
1. we purchased our Scandian wood flooring in 07-2008. We had some problems in 3-29-2011. Jeff hoskings would not file our warrenty claim with Scandian flooring due to the fact the scandian flooring  sold to us by  hoskings is no longer a distributor, Yet Jeff hosking sells scandian flooring through other distributors.
Scandian flooring moved all of there operations of of the USA to brazil yet Hosking continues to sell Scandian flooring when the manufacuture cannot be contacted or warrenty follow-up.
Jeff Hoskings is rude, unethical in his business practices. DO not buy from this company.

The email address that Jeff Hosking From Hosking Flooring
gave us for the warrantee Manufacture of Scandian Flooring is Marcos d flooring in 07-2008. We had some problems in 3-29-2011. Jeff hoskings would not file our warrenty claim with Scandian flooring due to the fact the scandian flooring  sold to us by  hoskings is no longer a distributor, Yet Jeff hosking sells scandian flooring thr

after contact with Marcos twice the emails started bouncing back meaning they went off line- this is 
when we asked for an inspector to look at our problem in the USA of our 25 yr warrenty wood scandian brazilllian cherry flooring that we paid Hoskings retailer over $6,000 for.

We attempted over a week to contact Marcos from Scandian wood flooring after
numerous attempts and emails bouncing back
that marcos.siewert@scandian.com.br is not a valid email we gave up. Scandian Flooring does not exist in the USA anymore all offices are gone.

So Mr. Jeff Hoskings pased our $6,000 bucks  (flooring investment) that we gave Mr. Hoskings off
the a Manufacture that DOES NOT EXIST IN THE US- Check out
www.scandianflooring.com website- its shut down- Google Scandian flooring you
will find they pulled all their operations. They have a brazil website but no one has responded after a month of attempts through website response forms.

THE BIG BUT of Jeff Hoskings.

Jeff Hoskings continues to sell Scandian flooring on his website as a retailer
of a Manufacture Company Scandian flooring that does not exist in the USA anymore cannot be verified in
Brazil, so Jeff take off your Scandian flooring products or advertise them AS
SOLD AS IS NO Warranty because Scandian does not exist. THUS NO WARRENTY!!

2. We turned over 5 pictures of our flooring to the Better Business Bureau
which goes to Jeff Hosking either Jeff is computer illiterate or he has blurry
vision. We will post a link here to the damage of the flooring

So Why should a retailer pay for a manufacture warranty item that has gone out of business?

a.) Dont continue to sell products from companies that have gone out of business like
Scandian flooring and there is no way for a customer to file a claim on warrenty when company does not exist.

b.) If your still are getting Scandian wood through a distributor that has surplus
or whatever means be ETHICAL and put NO WARRENTY on product.

c.) DONT come off like youre a great customer service retail Jeff Hoskings
when you just pass the buck with excuses and Scanadian flooring that is Out of
business in the USA and for all purposes unreachable in Brazil.

Jeff Hoskings continues to be investigated by the Better Business Bureau for
unethical advertising practices on his website- DO NOT BUY this Scandian
product or any product from Jeff HOSKINGS!! WE ended up with no warranty. Think
about your favorite retailers when you have a warranty issue GM Vibe no longer
is made but they cover your warranty, Go to lowes have a problem with a tool
they take care of you. Jeff Hosking does not take care of you as a customer-
just passing the buck and blaming the customer_ NEVER blame the customer that
feeds you.

Mr. Mcammond lets give the people the correct facts. Most people who have a complaint complain rationally, those who do not think that we bent over backwards far enough for them always greatly exaggerate their storytelling on what truly transpired to try and make the company look the worst it could be. Again, as we have told you about 30 times now retailers Do Not cover potential warranty issues. It is up to the manufacturer to legitimize a complaint about their product. All retailers do is simply confirm to the manufacturer that the consumer did purchase their flooring this has to be done through the manufacturers independent distributor from whom we purchased the product from.  We cannot go to or through another independent distributor to process a potential claim that they have no part of the sale or any information on.   You originally e-mailed us stating that you think you are having a problem with your floors finish. We simply requested that you take some clear photographs of the problem and send them to us.  Why dont you tell the readers here why you refused 7 times before sending us one blurry picture that we could not figure out what it was? Why dont you tell the readers here that from the start you sent us demanding, insulting and unintelligible e-mails when all we asked for was information about your problem so that we could relay that to the proper distributor? Tell the readers here that you did make contact with the manufacturer through an e-mail address we got for you and that they told you they would be in contact with you.  To the readers here, we retail flooring to thousands of people a year and when youre in the retail business you will have 99% of customers that are just really nice people. The other 1% are habitual complainers that no matter what you do for them you will never satisfy.
