I just wanted to let someone know about the practices of this company and the harassment they can give you after they are already collecting money from you. It isn't right and i don't know about legal either.
Hosto &Buchan filed judgements against me, on outstanding credit card debts we had to use to keep our dairy running right up to when the market crashed, here at our county courthouse.
Fist time I knew was when I was called to the front office where I work to be told they must take garnishments out of my paychecks. Max 25% of net.
Okay, I made the debts I should repay them. I support a family of four on my paycheck but I thought it would be okay.
When we tried to sell small amount of our acreage we hit a wall. We had those judgments against us at the courthouse the title company wouldn't go through with it.
With the quick wits of our realtor, we managed to have them place a 43,000.00 lien on the other acreage we were also trying to sell. Plus they would get the 2000.00+ left over after costs were paid.
Even though they are receiving four to five hundred dollars a month in garnishments and have a lien they still continue to call us and tell us how awful we are to not pay our debts, and that we need to give them money right now. We also no they would never be in that situation and their credit is good(because they actually told us this).
I now know why people commit suicide over financial debts. The debt collectors cause it with their harassing phone calls.
