Hotel Las Palmas (HLP) in Pureto Vallarta has a sales team. In league with Corporativo Integral, they are using pressure sales and unethical practices to take and keep your money, even
if you cancel. HLP are agents for Gold Crown Resorts (GCR) who appear
unable uto control their agent, in this case. You can legally cancel such contracts in Mexico in 5
days (as we did), and Profeco will assist (www.preco.gob.mx).
But Profeco has to rely on local agents to transmit dates of the
hearings. Use your own judgement as to why these notifications do not get
delivered. In our case, at the time of cancellation, HLP promised to return our funds, but now refuse to do so,
and have to date avoided 4 hearings with Profeco. In this situation, Profeco is powerless to
get your money returned. Our advice: Listen, take your gift (or not) and run!
