Hotels Corp Magical GetawaysWest Gate Vacation Club Lied and stole my money Kissimee/Orlando Florida

They lied about the quality of the room and the price. I purchased a Disney vacation package on Aug. 23 2013 for $642.60 which included our hotel stay from Dec. 23-26 at a 4 star hotel and 3 two-day touch of magic tickets. I was told I had to pay $268 down and the remainder by Dec. 21/13.

I called back to pay the balance the first week in December and was told I had to pay an additional $200! I said I wanted to cancel so the customer service rep. spoke to his supervisor and came back on the phone and said it would only be an additional $60. Not wanting to cancel our trip because I had already told my four yr.old son we were going, I reluctantly paid it.

When we arrived at the hotel (Ramada Maingate West, Kissimmee, FL.)we were shocked to discover that not only was it not a four star hotel, it was barely a two star. It was smelly and dirty and we were told by the rep. Tony Clarke at Hotels Corp. we were getting a 4 star room at a discounted rate for agreeing to take the 90 min. vacation club presentation. We found out we were actually being charged more than the hotel was charging.

When I tried to resolve it with the hotel I was told I had to call Hotels Corp. When I called Hotels Corp. customer service I was told I had to pay an additional $136 for a nicer/cleaner room. We had to purchase another hotel room at a different hotel  just to have a clean room for our son Christmas eve/morning
