hotrussianbrides.com is an online dating service supposedly dedicated to introducing Ukrainian and Russian women to men from anywhere, but mostly western men. This site captures unwary men with promises of the opportunity to meet beautiful Eastern European women, and they do have ten thousand or so women signed up, at least half of which are very beautiful. In general, Eastern European women are probably the most beautiful women on the planet, but the paranoia which seems to be a hold over from communism make the women easy prey for the agencies control tactics. The agency doesn't really want them to meet anyone. They keep them scared of the very men that they are supposed to be interested in meeting and marrying. It is all a way to keep them from ever giving the men on the site any personal information such as an email address so that you the men can get out from under the agencies exorbitant extorsion tactics and fees. They charge $4.00 per email and 40 cents a minute to chat with the women. It would be worth it if you could get the women to communicate with you outside of the site. After spending an initial $500.00 US with the site you can put in for what is called an imbra security clearance of your character? You are then allowed to pay $40.00 US to put in for an intimacy request for a woman, which if the woman approves it, allows you to exchange personal information such as an email address or phone number. Most of the time they are too afraid to approve it. They think you are going to do something to them somehow and this is the agencies fault and their policy. They want to continue to control the women all the way through the process until you have paid $30,000 or so to get married. I have been over to the Ukraine in 2011 and I have witnessed how it all works. You will have to pay for a translator to meet the women, which means that you have to buy the translators meals and tickets to shows or whatever you are going to do on a "date" One fellow from scotland told me that he witnessed two women go on a date with an American man. One woman supposedly couldn't speak any English so the other woman translated for her on the date. The following night the same two women went on another date with a different American man and this time they switched roles and the one that couldn't speak english the night before acted as the translator for the other one who now supposedly couldn't understand or speak any English. It made me laugh, but it is typical of the kind of scams that are going on. It is sad because I think that many of the women are sincere about really wanting to find husbands. In 2011 I had fallen in love with a woman from hotrussianbrides.com  As it came closer to time for me to go over and meet her she picked a fight with me and wouldn't communicate with me anymore. I had done the intimacy request and we had been communicating on google gmail and Facebook. She had told me that the guy in photos on facebook were her brother and the little boy in some of the photos were her nephew. After she broke it off with me, she forgot that I was still her friend on facebook. A few months later I went to her facebook and she had added some photos of herself and her so called brother and nephew that it was quite evident that her brother was actually her husband and the nephew was her son. She conned me out of $300.00 US to pay off a professor that wasn't going to give her good grades if she didn't pay him $200.00 US. The funny thing is, I still like her. I think she is a good woman, and that it was probably her husband that put her up to it. He looks like a jerk in the photos. Anyway, my whole point here is to warn men to not waste your money on hotrussianbrides.com

Ukranian women are good women and I heartily reccomend that you learn Russian and go there and meet one, and marry her, and bring her back. It is fairly easy to meet them, especially if you can speak their language a little. They will be grateful to you that you rescued them from a bad situation and you will have found a fiercely loyal wife that will have your back. They believe in family and that is their primary objective in life. They want to have children, so be prepared for that. Forget about the dating service hotrussianbrides.com Do not give them a dime. You can go the site a search the women for free just to see what I mean about their beauty, but don't pay for anything. A five dollar teddy bear costs forty dollars on the site. Highway robbery!

POSTED: Tuesday, July 12, 2016

We are still waiting to hear from you and for you to post your user account number in your post. If you are in fact a member, we'd like to discuss your comments noted above with you.

We are saddened that your review indicates a less than satisfactory experience on our site. Please contact our customer service department at 1-888-786-7413 between 9 am and 5 pm EST and give us the opportunity to suggest ways that could improve your experience.

We would greatly appreciate you making your first name and your User ID public on your review so we can confirm you are an actual client.  This helps us establish that your complaint is legitimate and not just another one of several unscrupulous competitors using this venue and others to post false negative reviews about our service.  We have become a leader in the Russian and Ukrainian international dating industry which has made us a target for underhanded practices.

We suggest following the tips briefly summarized below to improve user experience on the site:

1    If a lady asks you to send her gifts she is violating the terms of her participation on the site.  Report her to customer service.

2    If a lady acts in a provocative way early on in your conversation then maybe she is not someone interested in a serious relationship. Ask yourself if you were on your first date would you be impressed with her behavior?

3    Never, ever send money.  Do not give out your social security number, driver’s license number, or credit card and other financial details to anyone you correspond with using any online service. If any member asks for this type of confidential information please report that member to our customer service department immediately.

Missing the point of Finding a Wife -

AUTHOR: Stefan Marcus - (Canada)

POSTED: Monday, July 11, 2016

So you got stories about another guy telling you stories about some woman he might have seen two nights in a row in Russia at some point. Really? Nice tall tale.

Have you tried finding a decent site to actually talk to any Russian Woman? There are few and they are not setup to have decent conversation to have long term relationships on. They are dated chat sites with no controls.

Go see Love Me and understand that finding true Love is not easy. You complain and blame some site because you got taken by a woman asking you for money. Whoops. Should have stopped at the Western Union Counter on that one. OR just gone and seen her for yourself and enjoy the architecture and the beautiful woman first hand.

I would rather know that i am getting quality over random with a site that backs up its people wiht its brand. Do woman have a return policy were you get your money back?

It sounds like you actually developed something real on the website and your spitting sour grapes you did not produce a bride. Keep trying, there is one out there open to being with a North American. Thats why we are all in this game in the first place. Right? Escape the woman we know here who would take half our things without flinching or keeping our kids from us.

Creeping Facebook. Sounds creepy. We all do it. With a woman from Russia who stopped talking to you? Come on. How would you determine by a few pics that it is her husband or kid? Maybe it was and she wanted to remarry anyways. If i was in Russia as a woman and my man was no good i would want o leave him for a North American, for sure.

Seems like you have given up and just want to live with the Woman we have here. Me, not really. I will try this out and see if i can find the one who will actually be the one from Russia or Ukraine. Seems a better risk than trying the 50% game here with someone who does not even look hot.

You make some good points about the woman over there wanting a husband and children.

To answer hotrussianbrides.com rebuttal of my report

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 11, 2016

You have said alot in rebuttal of my report. I rebutt your rebuttal. I know what I am talking about. Your people in Ukraine know exactly what they are doing. I don't care. I love the women anyway. Even the lying married ones. They are pretty desperate for money to stoop to what they are doing. I don't hold it against them. But don't pretend that you don't know what is going on. You are making bank on this scam. I was in the Ukraine and witnessed first hand what is going on. It is your policy to not let the women communicate with the men outside of your money bilking system. They are warned about all the dangers of doing anything outside of your silly site. Anyway. I'm done wasting my money on stupid stuff like your site. I would have been way better off to save my money for a trip over there. That is what I will do and what I would council any man to do.

Buyer beware

AUTHOR: Mr Metrix - (Canada)

POSTED: Sunday, July 10, 2016

OK, Peter Harris, it's a safe bet that you had an unpleasant experience with the site. I completely get that. And, to be fair, you've had your wallet hit with quite a hammer by the sounds of it. I feel for your frustration, I truly do.

However, I think balance is important in life. Without it, people can sometimes get a less than full picture of any situation.

As a member of the site in question, I must admit my experiences are quite a bit different than yours seemed to be. For example, I have met several women through the site (online only, haven't gotten into anything serious enough to warrant a trip), and while I realize that not everyone is on the up and up, I also know that not everyone is on the take, either.

Common sense; it's not just a word, it's something you must have when engaging in talk with strangers.

Now, I could go to, let's say, eHarmony, and pay my dues. And, I could blindly buy into everything I read from a potential mate. And...I could watch as my bank account shrank by the day. It's the nature of the beast I'm afraid. There are con artists everywhere, and it's up to each individual to arm themselves with information before blindly marching into any sort of intimate discussion with another human being.

If you had read the fine print (well, not fine, it's pretty clearly written, actually), you'd have noticed a place to report theives and con artists. You'd also have noticed advice on how to approach the site, what to watch out for, and vigorous warnings about giving money to strangers that are crying hard times.

I'm confused as to how a website can be responsible for you giving this person 200 dollars. As well, it's blatantly obvious that you omitted the fact that this site exists to make money from you while providing you with a service. Sure, it costs to send emails and chat or view videos. Those costs exist in all dating sites, in one form or another. What you failed to mention in your biased report is that the site has levels of membership. Each level included x amount of messages you can write, x amount of chat you can engage in, etc. In short; you got yourself fleeced by not asking questions or listening to your gut when it came to this woman.

Again, how is the website responsible. And even better than that, what did you do to report this individual? Did you use their reporting link to let them know they had a snake in their midst? Clearly, you didn't mention that if you did. Instead, you decided you didn't like what you saw, and felt everyone but you was responsible for your bad experience, and decided to make the company look suspect instead of owning your own short sitedness and mistakes.

NOW...as for these "translators". NO ONE needs to hire a translator through the site. Not you, not I. If it turns out your lady isn't fluent in English, you could easily bring along your own. As well, you could also make an effort, and learn a bit of her language, and vise versa, if you're planning a trip abroad.

Lastly, no one from the site is going to charge any of it's members 30 grand for some wedding. I honestly have a huge problem with that. I've scoured the site, and found no evidence whatsoever to back up that claim. Nor did I find any rip off teddy bears listed in the gift shop. I did see that there are DELIVERY CHARGES included with the bear, which would easily explain it's higher price.

Perhaps if you used a dating site in accordance with it's guidelines, mixed in with the idea that not every member is going to have your level of integrity, and pursued reporting the bad eggs when you found them instead of globablly smearing an entire company for your negative experience, you'd have been successful in your quest.

Folks, it does not matter what site you use, always use caution, and ALWAYS read the particulars, so you know what to expect, and where your limits are. There is no free lunch in this world, that's the truth of things. Despite that fact, you can make a successful connection if you use your head, and listen to your instincts.

Hope you found what you were looking for, Peter Harris.
