When I sold my home in december of last year, I was advised a lien had been put on it and $1,747.92 was taken out of my escrow.
The funds went to Hameroff Law Firm 135 W. Council Street, Tucson Az. 85701-1001 representing Household.
In tracing all of this thru the Az. atty general's office I was notified someone opened an acct via the telephpne with all of my info 2/2002 & closed 11/2002 and charged $990.00. I never received any stmts, i never was aware of this until they took all of the money out of escrow. I had received some notification from hameroff about a lawsuit, wrote them, called them and they would not give me any info at all, therefore I ignored their lawsuit.
The atty gen's office in az fraud dept has done nothing but suffle papers back and forth, but Mr. grimes @ Household admitted they had no signature BUT would take this off my credit report. I want the Money they stole. This was a rape!

i finally contacted the arizona state atty's office and bitched and bitched until I got 2 real good guys to go after these crooks and was reimbursed 1749.67 that they took out of my escrow and they admitted it WAS credit card fraud. had it not of been for the state atty's office, i would have gotten totally screwed...
