Household Mortgage Services ripoff con artists illegally sold our property at a sherriff's sale without notification to us Brandon Florida

We purchased an investment home through Household Mortgage Services and rented it out, with the agreement that the renter would make the payments directly to the mortgage company. At one point, we were contacted by Household because the payments had fallen behind. We talked to the renter and were assurred that the payments had been updated. As we heard nothing further from Household Mortgage company, we assummed that this information was accurate. Within the past two weeks, we found out that this home had gone into foreclosure and had been sold at sherriff's sale.

We live in Northern Michigan, the investment home that we purchased was in Allen Park, (Southeastern) Michigan. Our address in Northern Michigan was used exclusively in all of the closing paperwork. When foreclosure and subsequent sale was initiated, Household and their attornies, Trott & Trott, P.C., 30400 Telegraph Road, Suite 200, Bingham Farms, Michigan 48025, sent all legal notices to the investment home, and nothing was ever sent to us at our address. The redemption period on this home will end on September 5, and we have no hope of having paperwork processed in this short period of time to redeem this home. Aditionally, this has caused a blemish on our otherwise excellent credit history.

We have since attempted to contact Household Mortgage, and have talked to a Thomas Patout, who referred us to their Attorney, as mentioned above. They attorney's office stated that they only had the address (of the rental property) that they were given by Household, at which point the attorney's office referred us back to Thomas Patout at Household Mortgage, who in turn referred us back to their attorney.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS RIPOFF COMPANY. WE HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT THAT THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM AS WELL AS CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS.
