Houston Admiral ripping off elderly spring Texas

I have read the complaints on this company and let me tell you none of them really surprises me after today. I had a brand new ac unit installed less than 2 years ago. today the tech showed up for my annual checkup everything was going good till the tech told me that my ac was clogged and needed to have a chemical cleaning. now i have worked in ac in my past and let me tell you that $239.00 is way to much to pay for them to squirt my ac with a water hose. i have spent the entire day reporting these tactics to every governmental department i could think of. to try and charge a elderly couple that sort of money for something that should already be included in my annual checkup is crazy.

i am sure that they already knew they tried to cheat the wrong person since the tech took the check for the $49.95 but refused to give me a copy of the reciept that stated that they wanted to charge me for coil cleaning. less than 5 minutes after the tech left he returned and tried to hand me my check back saying that there wouold be no charge for the checkup since i was unhappy. let me tell you that is not true the check up was fine it was the ideal that a company would try and charge me $239.00 to spray my ac with my own water. i have already contacted another company and after i told them what has happened they were appaled and will be here tomorrow morning to do a system check on my unit and also will inspect for dirt buildup and if that is not found they already said they would give me some paperwrk to state this . so i sort of need to know if others would like to help shut the doors on this and every company involved with them.
