Howard Construction remodeled my master bedroom, master bath, kitchen, replaced all windows and outside doors, completely new AC and duct, new ceiling throughout the house and new paint.  Any issue I had, which were few, was addressed immediately.

After being back in the house for several months, I felt there was a humidity issue.  We had lived in the house for several years prior to the remodel and were noticing that we were having to set to thermostat much lower to be comfortable in the house than we used to.

From the first call, Howard Construction was on top of it investigating what the issue could be.  Don, one of the owners was out several times with different engineers.  Some of the engineers seemed to want to pull Don to the side to have private discussions but Don would tell them, "we are all brainstorming here and have full disclosure.  Whatever you have to say, say it where we can all hear and discuss."

A source for the humidity issue or cause for the problem was never pinpointed.  No one could say with 100% certainty what the cause was or that it was even caused by the remodel construction.  Nevertheless, Howard Construction took care of it.  They  installed a whole house dehumidifier and new thermostat at no additional cost to me and without even having to sign anything.

In summary, Howard Construction paid out of their pocket to have the problem investigated by several 3rd party engineers as well as their own.  Then, although nothing pinpointed the issue to any of the construction they performed, they still paid thousands of dollars to solve the problem, make us more comfortable in our house and to make us a very satisfied customer.

Mike is their PM and stayed in communication with me throughout the construction as well as the followup, investigation and resolution.  Howard Construction always answered my call or emails and responded to my inquiries.  I could not ask for a better, more professional construction company than Howard Construction.

I think sometimes there are some customers that, no matter what you do, there is nothing you can do to make them happy.  Like the old adage says, "you cannot please everyone all of the time."  I have had such a positive experience with Howard Construction, I find it difficult to believe anyone would be displeased.  I enjoyed working with Howard Construction, Howard Cummings, Donald Towery and Mike Galaska on the remodel of my house.
