I was one of the first few people who helped get this "new" business off the ground. I started out in the call-center, moved up to a supervisor, and then the manager. I put in 118 hours the first two weeks, at $9.50 an hour. Come payday, there was no money. We found out that our employer was taking money from customers for a service, and not only NOT performing the service paid for, but he continued to take MORE money from other customers, and did the same thing.
There are a bunch of ex-offenders that got hired here, including myself. Almost all of "us" are currently in a 1/2 way house, and/or on some form of supervision. We thought this was a good job, but it's turning out to be a sinking ship real quick.
I don't know what to do or who to contact about this... ...he has all of our time sheets, no copies were given to us, either.
Being in the 1/2 way house makes it hard to know how to respond. What can we do?
If we quit or get fired, we could get set back to prison. Not alot of choices...

I just had to go to the police department to get a civil assist in money that was owed to me. He now has a company called alarm tec and another called protec. I had to wait weeks almost months for pay. He would then come up with reasons why my pay might have been shorter. I had to finish at the police department at 10am. Knowing that I had to move out of state he tried to wait til after I was gone to not only pay me but he expected me to give him all work material I had without pay. He would never give me a direct time to meet him to make the exchange. He even threatened me (I will kick your nappy headed monkey a*s and call the popos on you if you leave without giving me my s**t). I called the cops and he still tried to avoid me. So a police officer called him and had Howard L. Ross do the exchange this morning. I made a complaint similar to this one just yesterday. It is listed as alarm tec. So you are not the only one.
