After a fire in my house December 25th. 2007 and a bad insurance me and my family saved money to buy a new laptop.

As I am a 15 years and more user of HP our choice felt in Macedonia, I am Dutch working in Macedonia as journalist, on a USA notebook store.

I purchased a notebook with a AMD 2X HP DV6000 with a 6 months warranty. Strange enough after registering my notebook soon after I received a email from HP that my warranty has been extended with 24 months..

Ok no problems so far but soon after the problems started! First the Wi-Fi stopped when the notebook was not older than 6 months and I reported this to HP besides complaining about the short battery life of less than 45 minutes with power saving mode.

Since than I am non stop writing to USA notebooks and HP support and just a week ago after sending me to all kinds of service and support centers in Europe they told me some things:

My model the special edition is not supported in Europe! So they did know that before but never told me about this. Since than I have spend far over 200 USD for phone cost!

After I got the specia case manager from HP USA, USA Notebook just did not even replied on my many emails and phone calls, they told me to send the laptop to any address in the USA.

When I told them that I have no residence in the US and if I could send the laptop straight to HP they told me that this is not possible!

So what can I do?

I have no change to rent a house in the US and USA notebooks never informed me when they sold me this notebook here in Macedonia by their shop local in Skopje that this model is not supported by service in Europe.
I purchased the HP dv6000 in good faith and they only thing I got back from HP is that they recognize that this model has a factory mistake but no offer to repair or to solve the problem.

From last week the notebook does not even start up and the screen stays black!

Since this period there is lots of stress as I am trying for over 6 months now to get this issue resolved.

I am willing to join the many other users with very much the same problems in court so please some one help me, help us!
