Hsbc Of Nevada posted due dates on cc bills mean nothing to them Las Vagas Nevada

I have a First Direct Merchants Bank Mastercard, collected by HSBC, and a Best Buy credit card, also collected by them. I have always paid on time, and make it a point to pay the Best Buy card a few days early because if it is due on the, say 18th, you have to pay it before then or you have to pay a 'rush' fee of $15 if paid on the 18th on line. It takes them 2 days to 'process' a payment (wish I could get away with that in my business).

Now they are doing this with the direct merchants card-if it is due on the 8th and you go on line that day before 5PM (not a weekend or holiday) it was credited to the 8th-no more, now they want $15 to 'rush' the payment. This company did not notify me in any way that they were doing this-I pay many bills in a month, and this is the ONLY company I deal with that, if paid the day due as posted on the bill, consider it 'late' unless this extorsion fee is paid.

Needless to say, this will be paid off shortly, and I will NEVER do business with them again-they cannot live with what they have written on their statements (posted due date) and they are not very pleasant when you contact them to take issue with these heavy-handed policies. I have a good credit rating (725 average over all three reporting agencies) so I will not have a problem giving my business to another firm.

I just want anyone out there to know that HSBC is not the type of firm you want to owe money to since they cannot live with what is written on their own statements. They can (and have) made arbitrary increases in fees, rates and changes in policies, and cannot be trusted if you care at all about your credit rating.

Avoid them at all costs, when I first got my Best Buy and First Direct Mastercdard, they were not who I was dealing with-just be aware that if you are dealing with them, you cannot trust them at all.
