HSBC VISA Transferred less than Balance Agreed too leaving me with 2 charge cards instead of 1. Prospect Heights Illinois

11/20 spoke to sales rep regarding advertisement sent to me. VISA no interest for 4 mos. The offer was for a transfer of $3,800. Talked to sales rep who put me on hold and said that I could transfer my entire Discover Card Balance of $8981.71.On 12/14 $3,300.00 was taken from my Discover Card Account.

Called HBSC on 12/14 to inquire about this problem. They said they could not listen to tapes from the Sales Dept. That was separate from the Customer Service Dept. They said too bad. I asked them to return the balance to Discover Card and to cancel my account. They would not. They gave me a bogus name and number to complain to.

I set up an online payment on 12/4 to go to the address provided to me by customer Service. Carroll Stream. It was sent on 1/11/08 and due on 1/17. On 1/18 I got a message from my bank that the check was returned to them on 1/17.

Called Customer Service and they said too bad. I had the wrong address and the payment should have come to Maryland. I told them when I discovered the problem I went to their website and made a payment to them. They said they had no grace period and that I would be charged $38.00. I told them that I was given the wrong address, and had proof that I sent the payment on time. They said they would listen to the tapes and would let me know in 45 days. I said, OH SO NOW YOU CAN LISTEN TO TAPES. WHAT ABOUT LISTENING TO THE SALES TAPES. IF YOU DO YOU WILL SEE THIS IS FRAUD. They said they could not do that.

I asked them if they were trained in CS, they said yes. Their Customer Service is "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG." They mislead me, gave me the wrong billing addresses, and will not take responsibility for anything they do that is wrong.
