Hudson Valley Financial Credit Union HVFCU Forced Placed Auto Insurance on a car with full insurance New York

I have auto financing through HVFCU. After I moved about a year into my loan they stated I no longer had insurance and they were putting insurance on the car. I never didnt have insurance. Once I sent them the proof of insurance a few weeks later, they returned my balance and payments to normal after inflating them. Than, my next months statement showed a balance of almost $5,000 more than what I owed. I tried calling for 2 weeks before someone finally called me back. Once they did they told me there was nothing that could be done. The new insurance had been worked into my existing loan and it would remain there. My only option was to pay the insurance in full for the next 4 years on my loan. I have insurance a full poicy through Geico.

Not only am I being wrongfully charged, Im paying for insurance through two companys for the same car. I want my money credited back to my account and my balance to return to what it should be. I will also look to refi my car elsewhere.
