A company by the name of HUDSONLAWFIRM contacted me via email and told I need to pay off a cash advance loan I had already paid off. They said I owed them $980 and that if I did not pay immediately they would sue me and garnish my wages. I tried to make sense of this and even tried to agree on a settlement. But later I realized I had already paid this off. Thye sent me an email asking for payment via a gift card, which they said I needed to purchase at walmart, put money in the card and then send the card number on the back of the card. This was a STEAM GIFT CARD, for video games. Upon seeing this, I realzied this was all a SCAM and I told them I would report them to my local police department. I have not heard from them anymore after this.
BEAWARE OF MAKING ANY PAYMENTS TO ANY CASH ADVANCE LOAN COMPANY VIA ANY TYPE OF GIFT CARD WHAT-SO-EVER!
