I bought a used car from Hummer of Mahwah, when I looked at the bumper, it needed to be repaired and there where chips and dings. I should of thought something wasn't right when Carmine told me to lie to the bank on what was in the car. I was told by my sales guy troy that all of that would be taken care of- the inside would be cleaned and it would be like a new car, they had the car for 1 week because I didn't need it until the following friday when I was moving to florida. I picked up the car, I was rushed to get the stuff out of my car and into my new one. I was told they only had one key and no remote entry. I didn't have a chance to give the car a good look over because they where closing. I left for florida the next day with my family. In virginia my daughter wanted to watch a DVD from the entertaiment center that came with the car, to find out that everything was there but the DVD player. Also there are major stains on the ceiling I later found out by getting a ticket that my blinker was out as well. I called and spoke with Carmine who told me to bring the car in, he knew I was on my way to florida, so he knew that he was safe.
I called Hummer again and never heard back from anyone. I issued a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and was told that the dealer needs more time to look into it. While they where taking their sweet time, I found out that I had little to no coolint in the car. I again called- didn't hear back issued another complaint with the BBB, this time I get a call stating why did I wait until Aug to complain. After going back and forth with the BBb and the dealer- I received an email from the dealer telling me that they are going to be sending me down a DVD player, they are not going to refund my the money for my ticket nor the money I had to shell out to get the stains off the ceiling and to have the colliant put in and the compressor changed. It is going on 2 months and I have not received any DVD player from them. Since I am down here in Florida I am writing a letter to the owner of the dealership and sending a copy of the letter to the newpapers. Lets see how they like to be screwed with.
