As a former employee of this company, I would like to warn others who might be considering working for them, or doing business with them. Hunkar Technologies has purchased several reputable companies that it shows on it's website. These companies (OEM, Joseph Manufacturing, and Lord Label), have all been closed.
The videos one finds on youtube of demo equipment, are very possibly demos of equipment built by these former companies. Hunkar's ability to actually duplicate these pieces is highly suspect. The Company CEO has advised the VP at Hunkar Packaging to leave these videos posted to draw in new business. When I questioned the practice, I was told that I should not sell several of the particular models, but they should be left posted to entice new customers.
Hunkar Packaging is now down to two people. The VP mentioned above and one technician.
They require 50% deposit on all orders. It should also be noted, that they are very adept at structuring their contract and purchase order terms so that if they fail to perform, your legal recourse becomes extremely difficult and expensive.

I am a current employee of Hunkar Technologies and have been employed with this company for over 15 years. I would like to respond to this complaint first by saying that the complaint is coming from a former employee. This employee was terminated from his position as Sales Manager for the following reasons.
Not reaching Sales Goals.
Not producing New Leads.
Not following up with customers after sending out quotes.
Not returning phone calls to customers.
After being terminated he would call and harass management and employees at the office (which I find terrifying). He has also made contact with our customers making false statements.
Needless to say this disgruntle employee was doing whatever he could to give Hunkar Packaging a bad reputation for being terminated. Hunkar Packaging had later found out that this employee had made similar statements about his previous employers after being let go.
So therefore I would not give any merit to what he has said in his rampage to sabotage the reputation of a company that has had a successful business for over 45 years.
