got an emergency credit from co carecredit sponsered by hurley state bank for dental work for 2,500 credit limit.
did not receive statements on time and was bombared with 28%interest tried to talk to some one all were very nasty and uncareing. the account was turned over to collection agency by the name of encore they say I owe 5,000. now when the card I had was only 2,500 I have tried to talk to them but they call my house 247 and threathen today was the worst I have heard from this company
after 9/11 and being so close to ground zero you would think that there is one human with a soul that would take the time to speak with some respect to the people they call and threaten every day they don't even care if we lost loved ones. to say I have been ripped off is the truth 2,500 late charge is outragous no one will correct this error this bank should call themselves legal loansharks.

Application for conversion of S.Dakota state chartered bank Hurley State Bank, into a national bank:Jan.2000. It is only one of Citibank's numerous subsidiaries, many of which I've discovered on the Rip Off Report. The similarity and sheer number of the complaints is sensational. By their nature I'm reminded of a famous past ppresident.
I have been advised that everyone who has a problem with a National Bank that cannot be resolved amicably should phone the OCC 1800 613 6743.
The OCC is the regulatory body for national banks and is interested in:
the competency, experience and integrity of bank staff;
activities by banks that are inconsistent with the public interest;
fair and reasonable sub-prime lending to high risk borrowers;
Predatory Lending Practices;
in short, all of the matters I've seen raised on this precious web site.
