I purchased an Electric Husky Pressure Washer (Model 2000S) from Home depot in May of '09. I have used it about 6 times and noticed this last time I used it, I suddenly lost pressure at the gun and water was gushing from the underside of the pressure washer.  I immediately switched it off and layed it on it's back to see where the water was leaking from.  Since it is covered, I couldn't tell exactly where the water was leaking from so I disconnected the unit and called the 800# listed on the owners manual.  After holding for 30 mins. before speaking with a customer (no service) representative, she had me remove the cover and re-attach the garden hose and turn the water on to see where it was leaking.

It was both the inlet and the outlet (2 separate parts) that the water was leaking from.  They told me they would be sending me these two parts within 5-7 working days.  That was 3 weeks ago.  After e-mailing and calling them multiple times, they tell me that they can't seem to locate my parts or if they were sent out or no.  What a joke this is.  I spoke with someone at customer (no service) again today and she just repeated what they told me last week.  They don't know where my parts are and they are "researching" it.  I told her to just place another order for the parts and get them to me.  We can worry about wheather the other parts show up or not later.  Just take care of the customer (me in this case).  She said she couldn't do that and she was e-mailing the warehouse to see if they could put a rush on finding my parts. 

Although I realize that Home Depot doesn't manufacture Husky or HD Power Washers, this has made a very bad impression on their already tarnished image of customer (no) service.  The company that manufactures their electric power washers is FAIP. 

FAIP also manufactures Cambell Hausfeld, Ex-cell, DeVilbiss (once a great company), Generac, Craftsman, Simonize and others under private label like HD or Husky.
