Hyundai Of North Jacksonville ripoff Jacksonville Florida

I bought a car from Hyundai of North Jacksonville on September 16, 2006. Mr. Alvin McGriff, sales manager, closed the deal with me and stated that I did not have to put any money down, my payments would be $499.15 per month, and Hyundai of North Jacksonville would make my first payment. My sales associate, Dave Freeland, handed him the piece of paper to write the deal out, and he instructed Mr. Freeland to give him a new sheet of paper because the sheet we had previously been working on had become too jumbled. He showed him room on the paper, and Mr. McGriff insisted on having a new sheet of paper. I now realize that he did not want to write on that sheet of paper because of his plan to break his word of paying my first month, which was written on that piece of paper. I went to sign my paper work, and I refused to sign the paperwork because it stated my first payment was due 10/20/06. The finance manager informed me that this was because the bank should not be aware of the fact that they are making my first payment and assured me that they would keep their word and that it will be paid. He stated that all he had to do was enter it into his system. I have spoken to Mr. McGriff and he has told me that he will not make my first month's payment because it is not on the sheet of paper I initialed. It is on the first page I initialed; however, he stated that it did not count.
