Recently my friend and I responded to an audition call that we heard over the radio station. Urging all parents to bring their children in. (first two hundred callers hurry) They made it seem like it’s for Disney & nickelodeon. Once I got there, I listened to them speak about the industry and the children, how they only want children’s from ages 6-17 years old.  A few moments later one of the agents spoke to me stating that I could audition, I was surprise because I am older than 17 years old. Jeffrey Sievers and Zuzana Monroe told me and my friend how great I am and at acting and She’s a natural. After the two auditions, I am a Star, INC. C.E.O Zuzana Monroe & Jeffrey Sievers sat down with parents individually saying there's a package fee for your child to continue with auditions and March was the only MONTH to pay because they were flying out to California in a few hours. My friend wanted her daughter to go through with it. I assume I was paying for a spot to reserve for a TV show auditions. Everything was rushed and not looked over. I looked up the company on google they were nowhere to be found. I called their office no answer or voicemail. I called the better business bureau and they stated that I Am a Star, Inc. is not in their database meaning their business is not accredited. For after two days trying to get a refund from I am a star CEO Zuzana Monroe contact me via text messages stated I wouldn't be able to receive a refund. I have not receive any services from this lady or company. Zuzana Monroe have taken a couple thousands of dollars from my friend and I attended the auditions. I have not receive any phone calls or emails stating when I'll be issued a refund. They prey on the dreams of children and place pressure on parents to spend money. I checked them out and did some research. They are not a real legal company but a bunch of sales people claiming to be talent scouts. None of which have credentials. No information were given of their names or contact information, just general 1800 341-9443 number where receptionist answer but do not transfer to anyone or gave information about people working there. Jeffrey Sievers is doing one for the big show TV luring parents with fake auditions and workshops. I have made several attempts to receive my refund and no one has responded to my request. Parent’s be aware of these scammers going to city to city, state to state even countries to lure money from parents especially during income tax season. Changing business names and talent show names.
