My wife thought she would help as I am un-employed, so she heard something about Google having a work from home thing. She gave my name and number then a credit card number for a $1.97 charge for information.
They called my number and I was caught off-guard. My wife said something about investigating a career with Google, so I said I knew something about it. They went on to verify the charge and said it would be over $33.00. I told them I was not interested and not to charge the amount. I told them they should talk to my wife and they said they could only call my number.
Needless to say, they charged the card anyway...and we called and had it removed. Next month same thing, but they said they would not remove it. When asked for corporate phone number, they said they did not have a phone at corporate.
We are having to get our credit card company to pull the charges and list them as fraudulent.
They are not Google!!!! Do not give them your credit card number!!!!
It looks like they changed their name as I see an Internet Treasure Chest, and no Google Treasure Chest on this site.
