I planned on attending school there for a while and did so for a short period of time, but decided it wasn't for me and there was a need for me at home as well, so I left early in the term. I was approved for a $10k loan with Sallie Mae and allot of that money was needed for the full term, well I didnot stay the full term and the school kept the entire dispersment of the loan. I am aware that some schools require you to stay a certani period of time before you can leave w/o penalty, I did that and also left before the entire term was up. So according to the woman I spoke to on the phone from IADT I would end up owing the application fee, a fee for my bookstore purchases, and Possibly about a third of the term tuition. But they kept over $9K that i now have to pay back to Sallie Mae! $23k after interest over the life of the loan!! Do not attend that "school"!

We are trying to get Morgan & Morgan to pick up the IADT case and they said they will probably do it if they get enough enquiries. We currently have over 100 people. Go to http://www.forthepeople.com/ and fill out information under contact to join. Tell every former students you know. :)

Your credits cannot not transfer over! IADT is nationally accredited while universities/colleges have regional accreditation. Good luck with your "degree" because most companies don't have any respect for these for-profil schools.

IADT Not a Rip off

IADT is not a rip off. i am a student there and my money hasn't been stolen. and if you don't have enough money they will give you the IADT Grant and your monthly payments will be no more than 40 dollars. i'm sorry for those who have suffered. but that is with any school or university. i went to EAst west university before i went to IADT. and you dodn't even get a refund check. you pay all these money for classes, and even if u have money left over u dont get it. at least IADT give u your money back if u are do money. Also my friends credits from the university transferred over. It depends on the school or university if they accept credits or not. that is with any university or private school. it's not rocket science. i just cant sit back and let others talk bad about my school. because their are many sucessful students who are excelling because of IADT. all colleges want money that's the bottom line. So get over it that's the way the world works.
