IBC Percission Cooktop Nuwave Shipping charge scam Libertyville Illinois

My father recently passed away from a stroke. While going through his home we had discovered he purcheed a IBC Percission Cooktop from Nuwave A week prior to passing. I called and informed them of the situation and they provided me with the information to return the product.  The total charge for the purchase was $255.54. I took the equipment back to UPS as directed and paid the shipping of $23.00 to return the merchandise. I check my fathers account and notice the full refund I was told he would get turned out to be $149.79. I contacted the company and they stated the shipping is not refunded. I. ageee with the company the shipping should be not included in the refund. I was shocked that the charge for shipping by Nuwave was $105.75 which was $82.75 more then it cost me to ship the same equipment in the same box via the same method. I believe knowing my father even at the age of 84 understood he would be paying a shipping fee of $105.75 for the cooktop, being on a fixed income he would of reconsidered. I would advise anyone to be very inquisitive on shipping cost when ordering from this company.
