Ibogaine University Thomas Leonard Refused refund Rosarito Baja Mexico

I went to Ibogaine University in Rosarito, Mexico in April of 2018. I think it is now operating under a different name, but the owner is Thomas Leonard. I was quoted a price of $5,000 for one week and $8,000 for 2 weeks - the rep convinced me to stay for 2 weeks so I sent $8K to Thom before I flew down. Upon arrival, I saw that the facility was not very nice. Phone use was restricted, locks on the fridge, small dark bedroom with a bare lightbulb, and not much to do. The Ibogaine treatment took 3 days, so I decided to leave after one week. I asked for the unused portion of the fee for the 2nd week to be refunded ($3K). Thom swore he was not the kind of guy not to pay what he owes, but once back in the states, he didn't answer any of my calls, texts or emails. Finally, he sent me $500. I don't expect to ever see the remaining $2,500. Buyer beware!
