Note: CEO Scott Curley used to head Summit Tax Relief, and previously worked for Taxmasters, and according to at least one website has done time for drug charges (obviously may or may not be true).

1. They will want their fee up front (around 1500 for me)
2. They rarely update you on your case
3. They go through frequent periods where no one answers the phone or will call or email you back
4. They claim to have been working with IRS, but somehow, the IRS had no notes or other indications that they'd heard from iConic, save for a notation that I was being represented by a particular lawyer.
5. So far, I've had to handle every time the IRS has threatened a lien against my property, etc.
6. iConic is extremely argumentative on the phone with customers- Very unprofessional.

Basically, they will make off with your fee and then not really do much of anything besides trying to parry complaints. Anything you complain about, they'll state is because YOU 'don't think your case is proceeding fast enough', regardless of whether that has anything to do with your complaint.

I can't stress enough, get an actual local lawyer or just speak to the IRS directly. They're much easier to work with than rumor would imply.

1.  Scott posits a number with no proof it is correct,  but claims that numbers don't lie.


2.  Scott wholly ignores every part of the actual complaint, exactly as I said he would...

Again, let us review the numbers.... we have serviced OVER 1000 clients and have a GRAND TOTAL of 4 BBB complaints. Those numbers show a 99.6% satisfaction ratio.

Any reasonable person can see that this complainant obviously has a personal issue that is not supported by any statistical data whatsoever. 

There will be no more attention paid to this frivolous complaint as it is obviously founded with malicious intent.

Dun & Bradstreet handles credit.  One would have to pay money to verify ANYTHING through them, so that's out.

Iconic is NOT a BBB accreddited business.  Complaint history isn't horrible, but is already fairly bad for such a young company.



So, where would one verify this incredible numbers, exactly?

Without appearing arrogant, we are chosing to not dignify this obviously malicious "complaint" with a long, drawn out rebuttal...


Our only response is that the reader should take into consideration the numbers...


We have been in business for 2 years, and during that time period, we have serviced OVER 1000 clients... 


Considering that number of clients that we have VERIFIABLY serviced, we have maintained impeccible success ratios with REPUTABLE reporting entities such as Dun and Bradstreet and the Better Business Bureau.


We strive to assist all of our clients to the absolute best of our abilities. If this particular "client" chooses to identify himself/herself, then we will do our best to address his/her issue just as we have for the other hundreds of clients which we have satisfied since the time of our company's inception. Simply stated, the proof of our credibility is in our numbers.
