IDCSERVCO - Superior Office Products ripoff, scam Los Angeles California

I received a call at my desk about re-stocking our printer toner. The woman (Susan, I think) told me the price had gone up and that her "distribution" person would call to verify our fax number.

About an hour later I got a call from Julie to verify our fax number and that we would get our toner at our previous price rather than the increased price if we would sign the acknowledgement.

It almost worked, but my boss said that these people had tried it before with the girl in my position. I tried calling the phone number to verbally refuse, but the number led me to a psychic hotline. While I appreciate the irony, it's not really helpful.

The plan from here is to disregard any shipments and demands of payment, but really, watch out for these people. This is the second company name they have tried this under (I think the other was Progressive Office Products).
