Idcservco, West Coast Distribution called to confirm toner pricing and deliver unknown, California

I received a telephone call from a lady posing as a xerox representative. She apologized that the price of our toner had elevated, however, it was their mistake that they had not notified us and therefore would let us have it at the 2009 price of $698.

She informed me I would receive a fax (asked for fax # confirmation). She did know my name, however asked me to spell it. (this is not unusual).

Five minutes later I get a call from a man telling me the fax was on its way and I was to sign it and send it straigh back! I was alarmed because of his attituted.

I seen red flags because I have been paying the PO's at my company for the past 11 months and had never seen a bill for toner, it is included as a consumable in our contract.

I called our copier company to verify my question. Sure enough, our toner is included in our contract.

These people are scam artists don't get taken for a ride.

My rep from our copier company did give me a telephone number to call if I continued to be harrassed by these people. I will post it here for anyone who needs it.
