I ordered the LOUD-N-CLEAR from a TV commercial thinking it might help my husband who has trouble hearing. It was a deal that you get get a second one free "only pay for S&H."

It took several weeks for it to come to me by mail. Both Loud-N-Clears (the one I purchased and the free one) were in one tiny little box weighing about the same as a greeting card. So I paid S&H for 2 Loud-N-Clear that came in one box with a S&H charge of $22.96. The Loud-N-Clear cost for the one I purchased was $39.97.

This is ridiculous. On top of that, the Loud-N-Clear is a piece of junk! It barely makes any sound coming into it any louder than it ordinarily is. It looks and resembles a toy in its performance.

I am sending it back. I tried to call the telephone number on the invoice but got a message saying that due to the overload in phone calls to try back later in the week which I did and got the same recording. I finally got online and looked up IdeaVillage and found another telephone numbers which I was able to contact a real person. That person told me what to do and that my credit card will be credited upon them receiving the product back.

I do no believe that the S&H will be credited to my credit card. I have a feeling that I have lost that much.

How can companies like this still be able to advertise the junk they do and use the US Mail to rip customers off. They are making money from innocent people and the cost of the S&H alone probably pays for a dozen of these cheap items.
