Idearc Media affiliated with Verizon Supermedia conned me using craigslist Internet

Idearc media scammed me big.  And good thing i am smart enough not to pay them.  There shark contacted me through an add i had on craigslist for fixing cars.  He lied to me about the service and said that i would not be paying for anything untill they got me the customers.  I asked him repeatly if this was true that i would only pay if i was brought in the buisness and he repeatly lied to me and told me that this is how it was.  He seemed like an angel he had the right awnser for all my questions.  Unfortunaly everything he told me was a LIE.  He said that he had thousands of clients for me and fleetwork and all this stuff that was just not true.  I got not one single customer out of this advertising.  They told me that the advertising wouldnt really kick in for three months.  (im guessing that this was the time that i could have backed out of this but since they told me it didnt kick in for 3 months i waited three months before i even opened up a letter from them.  Currently i apparely owe them 1900.00 dollars.  This is the biggest scam you could ever imagine.  Lots of people go and post there services on craigslist and this company comes along and tells these entrepenures that they can get them all this buisness and that they wont pay for it untill they receieve the businiss. So these people fall right into thier little trap like i did.   I dont deserve to have my credit ruined its not like i went and racked up thousands on a credit card.   I was told that supermedia would be tracing my calls through my verizon phone and that was how they would know whether or not i was getting buisiness through them.  Again i was told that i would not be paying for anything untill i was brough buisiness.  This company is a scam and needs to be shut down before anyone else gets conned.  THousands of small businesses are at risk of these lying scammers.  You just dont think of verizon and the yellowpages going around scamming people on craigslist but that is exactly what they are doing someone needs to step up and take these people down!!
