May 25, 2007 Island Dream Homes ( IDH Roofing Services) replaced my tiled roof for the amount of $19,600 w/ a ten year warranty. It was a very shoddy job compaired to the job they did for my neighbor who hired IDH Roofing after my roof was installed. DAVE the Supervisor told me "my new roof was a job that they learned all their mistakes on" March 23, 2009 I had two leaks one in my kitchen and one in my bathroom I called them and it took them a month to respond to my call. They wouldn't return my calls they said they would get back with and never would. I called every week beggng them to come out and fix it. May 18 2010 I have another leak in my dinning room I've called them and again it's a repeat they are ignoring my calls and I am begging them to come and repair it yet to no avail .

Here is a link to an article about the owner of IDH ripping off an 81 year old woman for $132,000 and was arrested and convicted of it. How this man is allowed to run/own any business has to be illegal. Thank god for forums like this, citizens of Volusia county need to communicate with each other so no one else gets scammed. What kind of person would do this to an 81 year old woman. Share the link if you like:

In reference to this allegation, we at IDH Roofing Services are just now aware that this exists online. All the work for Ms. Detling has been taken care months ago. As a matter of fact, we have been trying to contact Ms. Detling every Monday for the past two months without a return phone call.
We apologize for the inconvienence of not gettting out there for her immediately and for that we are sorry. The area of damage in her ceiling was pulled down and completely replaced and retextured to match the existing texture. We also pulled up the existing tile and underlayment and installed new metal flashings, new underlament and re-installed the tile
We have contacted the BBB and any complaint by Ms. Detling has been resolved and the case has been settled.
In reference to the workmanship of the roof. If at any point I or Ms. Detling felt that the workmanship was at any time "Shotty" she would of never paid for the work. And if I felt that the work was not up to our standards, why would I warranty the work for 10 years?
