IDT Prepaid Phone Card IDT Prepaid Calling Cards - Hidden Fees Houston Texas

Purchased a $10.00 IDT prepaid calling card from local grocery store in Houston that was advertised at 1.7 cents per minute. Theoretically that should give you 588 minutes. ( $10.00 / .017). The back of the card very prominently states "No Hidden Fees!".
Left 1 voice message that was 2 minutes in length. Balance is 499 minutes. Left 1 more short voice mail message and now the balance is 464 minutes.
I needed a magnifier glass to read the following small print. Per call connection is 59 cents. Usage rounded to the next full minute. Rates subject to change without notice. Called customer service and was told that the rate on my card was 61 cents per call and 1 cent per minutes and that the balance on the card was 473 minutes? From now on I will keep a magnifier glass in my purse!
This is wierd. Seriously how does that translate to no hidden fees.
