I registered at 3-4 month ago. It needed a credit card info, but said no charges will be made. I looked around, visited FREE things and such. Then they started to charge money for nothing. I never visited the site again and I only found out it 2-3 month after, when they charged 1+2,98+1+2,98+3,47 USD.I tried to cancell things but they hide the links or there were not any.

As a last resort I changed my creditcard details on the site to a made-up one so it will not work next time they try to charge, but it seems they really stole and saved my details since they continued to take money off.
At the end I found out where to cancel/delete my membership/registration, deleted my account, but they still stealing from my card, even if my cardnumber not the same AND I am no longer a member. (my loginname was fmgpyy and fmgpyy2).

I feel your pain friend.

I actually signed up to it as well.  It said it's free, but it asked for my credit card details to finalise the account.  Stupidly I input them.  I then got an e-mail saying my account was created.  1 minute later my account was cancelled by then, no reason why or anything!  I also bet I get charges from this company as I am just that unlucky!

Peter created two accounts with the iFriends service in April 2009. On May 21, he used our online cancellation utility to cancel one of his accounts. On May 25, he used our online help form to request cancellation of his second account. This second account was promptly cancelled. On June 26, he used our online help form a second time to request refunds of all charges that had been billed. All charges were refunded at that time, as Peter requested, and both accounts remain cancelled. If Peter has any questions, we encourage him to contact our Customer Care department by calling 00-800-4374-3637, a toll-free call from Hungary.

When Peter created his iFriends account, he specifically chose to enroll in the upgraded iFriends VIP subscription. An iFriends subscription option is available for free, but the VIP subscription that Peter chose to create has a monthly charge associated with it. Peter was also charged because he opted to access premium areas of the iFriends service. These areas carried per minute charges. The charges were clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance, and Peter affirmatively chose to enter those premium areas.

The reason that Peter saw a charge post to his account after he cancelled it was because the charge was originally declined by his bank. Although the accounts were cancelled and Peter did not engage in any further use, he still owed money for the services that he had used prior to cancelling his accounts.

Each time we sent a charge to Peter's credit card, we included a toll-free telephone number, specific to his location in Hungary, that he could have used to contact us with any questions about the charge or about the account. In addition, we provide a link to email and telephone contact information on every page of our service. We also provide an online cancellation utility and an online help form that subscribers can access to quickly resolve any issues that may arise, which Peter used. Each time Peter contacted us, the action which he requested was promptly completed the account was cancelled, and refunds were issued.

We have been in business for 14 years, and we have more than 9 million satisfied customers. We have consistently maintained excellent ratings with all leading consumer protection agencies. In addition, we have pioneered and developed online consumer best practices that have been adopted by many other services. The iFriends service is verified by TRUSTe and is on its sealholder list of the most trustworthy online businesses.
